Actor Muzi Mthabela's latest role as Nkosi Cele is similar to Vusi Kunene's character as Jack Mabaso in Generations: The Legacy.

Vusi Kunene exited the SABC1 soapie in October 2021 for his new role as Funani Zwide in e.tv's House of Zwide.

The two characters are so similar that it appears the writers just renamed Kunene's previous role to Nkosi.

What is striking about the actor's characters is that they are both related to Pearl Monama's character - Sphesihle Cele.

Jack was Sphe's step-daughter and lived with her in his house.

Nkosi is Sphe's uncle, treats her like his daughter, and lives with her in Jack's house.

Jack and Nkosi are villains who only care about their interests and play games to get what they want.

Both characters also have similar interests: Jack had shares at #EzweniCommunications, Nkosi just bought Gaddafi's shares in the same company.

MUZI MTHABELA JOINS GENERATIONS: THE LEGACY' The actor Muzi Mthabela debuted in Generations: The Legacy last month (16 December) after ditching his role as Menzi in e.tv's Imbewu: The Seed.

The actor told Daily Sun that his new character's storyline will be full of fireworks and a beautiful storyline.

Mthabela's character is very protective of Sphe and will fight her battles with the Morokas.

There was a dispute between the Morokas and Sphe, Nkanyiso will fight for Sphe and won't let that dispute slide.

VUSI KUNENE JOINS HOUSE OF ZWIDE' Entertainment commentator Phil Mphela announced in October 2021 that actor Vusi Kunene resigned from Generations: The Legacy as Jack Mabaso.

Sources informed Mphela at the time that the actor will be starring in the show that is set to replace Rhythm City on e.tv.

Kunene currently plays the role of fashion designer Funani Zwide in e.tv's fashion drama House of Zwide.
