NAGRA to highlight OTT, IP migration and the successful implementation of AI at the ConnecTechAsia Summit

Cheseaux, Switzerland - June 19, 2018 - NAGRA, a Kudelski Group (SIX:KUD.S) company and the worlds leading independent provider of content protection and multiscreen television solutions, will participate in four sessions of the ConnecTechAsia Summit as part of CommunicAsia 2018, taking place June 26-28, at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore.

NAGRA will be a featured speaker on Day 2 (Wednesday, June 27th) and Day 3 (Thursday, June 28th) of the Summit in the following sessions:

- The Price War in the OTT Battlefield at 12:10 p.m. on June 27 will feature St phane Le Dr au, SVP Sales and Operations, APAC. Le Dr au will join other panelists to discuss price-points, content discovery and differentiation in OTT business models;

- In an exclusive joint presentation at 2 p.m., Bee Lian Ong, VP Interactive TV and Media Engineering, StarHub, and Chrystophe Cl ment, Senior Director, Business Development and TV SI Practice Leader, APAC, will present StarHub Case Study: Planning and Designing the IP Broadcast Facility. The session will reveal the key challenges StarHub faced in migrating its systems to IP and describe some of the innovative approaches taken by both StarHub and NAGRA to deliver this ambitious and forward-looking project;

- On June 28 at 11:00 a.m., Simon Trudelle, Sr. Director of Product Marketing, will speak on the panel Rise of the Managed OTT STB: Battle For Home Entertainment Intensifies and explore the rise and impact of streaming devices in the TV market and how pay-TV operators can leverage them while maintaining control and flexibility;

- Finally, on June 28 at 1:00 p.m., Trudelle will be a featured panelist in The Light of Artificial Intelligence, to discuss and share insights on successful implementation of AI in the broadcast industry looking at key AI trends, where it makes sense to implement AI and how AI can increase ROI. Other panelists include Justin Ang, Head and VP of Product, StarHub and M. Thangarajan, SVP and Chief Innovation Officer, Tata Elxsi.

Visitors to NAGRA Booth 1J2-01 at CommunicAsia 2018 will discover smart solutions for the OTT era that can help pay-TV providers and content owners deliver the services and solutions that are critical to enabling the next generation of pay-TV and OTT services and the next phase of growth in the region.
