Muzeo of Tianyi Pavilion Library Exhibit at Hong Kong Rao Zongyi Cultural Center

Yesterday morning, the muzeo of Tianyi Pavilion Library exhibition which theme was Geng Shen Ye Mao and the honorary curator of the appointment ceremony held at Hong Kong Rao Zongyi cultural center. Rao Zongyi who is well-known for his authority studies of Chinese ancient civilization attended the ceremony and accepted the appointment to be the honorary curator of Tianyi Pavilion Library. He gave the Ningbo government a calligraphy work "Shu Cang Gu Jin, Gang Tong Tian Xia" as a present.

This exhibition was an further cultural communication after Rao Zongyis work, including nearly 30 pieces of publication works and 30 pieces of calligraphy and paintings, displayed at Tianyi Pavilion Library on June of this year. Tianyi Pavilion Library displayed 80 pieces of works for this exhibition which included ancient books, rubbing form a stone inscriptions, calligraphy works and paintings. The three parts of the exhibition " Owner of Tianyi Pavilion" " Books of Ancient and Modern" "The Calligraphy Masterpieces" expressed the content of system of examination and Chinese clan culture in ancient China, the excellent craft of ancient calligraphy and paintings and the history, concepts and features of Tianyi Pavilion collections. The exhibition ended until Dec. 10th . Otherwise, the citizens of Hong Kong can know more about the details of Tianyi Pavilions collection from the series of lectures at Rao Zong Yi cultural center during December and November which held by the researchers of Tianyi Pavilion.

Rao Zongyi cultural center, one of the activation of historical building partnership program, locates at Qing Shan Road of Jiu Long, Hong Kong, which was rebuilt from the Old buildings of Li Zhi Jiao hospital. As a new cultural landmark of Hong Kong, it named by the government of Hong Kong for honoring the famous master of Chinese culture, Rao Zongyi. Ma Fengguo who is the deputy president of Rao Zongyi cultural center management committee said that as the oldest library, Tianyi Pavilion Library has more than 400 years history which longer than Hong Kong. The abundant collections and attitude to knowledge of Tianyi Pavilion can have positive influence on modern Kong Kong citizens. Its meaningful to help inherit the traditional culture and Hong Kong citizen can use this rare chance to appreciate the muzeo.
