Mistika ha estado presente en todos los momentos de la creaci n de la serie producida por At pica Films y Movistar+, La Peste: Desde la pre-producci n, realizando todas las tareas de visionado, correcci n de color, pruebas de c mara, LUTS y etc, explic Juan Ventura, Supervisor de FX, Compositor y Colorista de la serie La Peste.
Retocando color en tiempo real con MistikaTambi n toda la revisi n y supervisi n de VFX se realiz en Mistika. Gracias a sus herramientas de composici n, pod amos tratar la im gen con distintas capas de mattes, retocar el color hasta el m s m nimo detalle y todo en tiempo real. Mistika fue esencial tambi n a la hora del masterizado final del proyecto, destac Ventura.
La contribuci n de Mistika en el proceso creativo de la serie fue fundamental. Dice Ventura que fue primordial poder ver todo el proceso en tiempo real, pruebas de LUTS, visionado de VFX, pre-etalonaje de secuencias o planos que por su complejidad se necesitaba ver un resultado final inmediato. Cualquier visionado durante y despu s del rodaje se realizaban en Mistika.
En opini n de Ventura, los beneficios que ofrece Mistika con respecto a otras herramientas de postproducci n son importantes. Una de las principales ventajas, adem s de realizar todo en tiempo real, sea cual sea la resoluci n y caracter sticas del proyecto, es el poder tener una Timeline en la que puedes trabajar m ltiples correcciones de colores, mattes etc. Tener la libertad de utilizar herramientas de composici n que complementan la correcci n de color, poder retocar cada aspecto del proyecto en un mismo espacio libera de las antiguas ataduras de las capas de VIDEO-AUDIO.
Mistika abre puerta a la creatividad Para Ventura la tecnolog a de Mistika fue clave para conseguir un buen resultado. Su potencia radica en la mezcla de todas las herramientas que pone al alcance del colorista. Toda su tecnolog a nos da libertad y creatividad a la hora de realizar cualquier proyecto, sea cual sea su complejidad, resoluci n y calidad.
Sin duda, postproducir La Peste fue un enorme reto para Juan. Uno de los retos fue mantener todos los detalles en sombras al ser una serie en la que la iluminaci n utilizada fue en su mayor parte natural. Natural ya que se utilizaron velas, candiles, pebeteros etc. Quer amos dar al espectador la sensaci n de c mo se viv a en ese siglo, esa oscuridad real, ese ambiente sucio que envuelve toda la serie. Otro de los retos fue la reconstrucci n digitalmente de la Sevilla del Siglo XVI, ya que de la poca quedan muy pocos edificios o localizaciones que se pudieran utilizar .
Sobre la serie La Peste Vive la decadencia de una de las ciudades m s importantes y ricas de la poca.
En la segunda mitad el Siglo XVI, Sevilla era la metr poli del mundo occidental. Puerta de acceso de Am rica en Europa. Ciudad donde la riqueza florec a con facilidad gracias al comercio internacional, al oro, la plata; a la convivencia de nacionales y extranjeros: cristianos, jud os conversos, moriscos, esclavos, libertos, p caros, ladrones, prostitutas, nobles y plebeyos. Pero tambi n era una ciudad de sombras por la desigualdad, las hambrunas, inundaciones y epidemias. Durante una plaga de peste negra, un ex militar Mateo regresa, honrando su palabra, para encontrar y sacar de la ciudad al hijo de un amigo fallecido. Mateo tuvo que huir de la ciudad para salvar su vida. La Inquisici n le conden a muerte por imprimir libros prohibidos. Antes de conseguir su objetivo, Mateo es arrestado por los alguaciles del Inquisidor, quien promete perdonarle la vida a cambio de resolver una serie de cr menes con tintes diab licos que se est n produciendo en Sevilla.
Una investigaci n a vida o muerte en un entorno de represi n p blica y hedonismo privado; de misticismo y caos; de conventos relajados y burdeles reglamentados; de c rceles como escondite, de hospitales como tumbas; de traiciones y lealtades.
