Gravity Media is adding to its European operations with a new Barcelona-based office headed by former Mediapro Middle East CEO Paco Herrero.

He will aim to expand the company's business across Spain, Portugal, South America, and the Middle East, and has been tasked with growing key client relationships focused on the broadcast, media, tech, production, post production and OB sectors.

Herrero joins Gravity from VAV Group, where he was CEO for over 14 years. The company specialises in production and post production services for television, TV studios & OBs, broadcast engineering and technical consultancy for Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

Eamonn Dowdall, Gravity Media's executive director said: On behalf of John Newton, myself and all the senior team we'd like to welcome Paco and look forward to seeing future growth in the Spanish speaking markets in which he will work. Paco is a real talent, and his knowledge and experience makes him such a suitable addition to our growing Gravity Media business.

Paco Herrero added: I am extremely proud to be joining Gravity Media at such a pivotal time the business is expanding, bolstering its talented team and always looking at new market opportunities which makes it an exciting and dynamic business to be a part of. I hope to grow my client relationships bolstered by the Gravity Media global creative production and media services.
