New Progress OpenEdge 11.2 Platform Helps Electronic Health Records Provider Go Mobile Infian Speeds Development of Critical Business Apps for Mobility with Latest Progress Software Platform, Now Generally Available
BEDFORD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Progress Software Corporation (NASDAQ: PRGS), a global software company that simplifies and enables the development and deployment of business applications, today announced that Infian, a leading provider of Electronic Health Records (EHR) for dialysis centers and the renal industry, has chosen the new Progress OpenEdge 11.2 application development platform, featuring the OpenEdge Mobile product to help its clients save time and improve quality of care. Using the new solution, Infian will now be able to make data available securely - where its needed and when its needed - using the latest in mobile technology.

Launched earlier this month at the Progress Software Global Partner Conference and now generally available, the OpenEdge 11.2 platform with the Progress OpenEdge Mobile product provides developers with a quick and easy way to deploy full enterprise applications on mobile operating systems, including iOS and Android, while also taking advantage of mobile device features.
