LiveU and Panasonic LUMIX Launch Live Anywhere Mobile Production Workflow

LiveU and Panasonic LUMIX have announced the Live Anywhere workflow, demonstrated at NAB 2026 and InfoComm 2026 in collaboration with Social180Group. The workflow combines LUMIX cameras with LiveU's IP bonding technology for mobile live production without traditional broadcast infrastructure.

The workflow centers on the LUMIX S1II paired with the LiveU Solo PRO via HDMI for handheld use, and the Panasonic UB-50 box camera connected via SDI to the LiveU LU800 for multi-camera setups. At NAB and InfoComm, the team used the system to produce live streams from the show floors.

This was about staying mobile and staying fast, says John Porterfield, Founder and Webcast Producer, Social180Group. Turnkey Live Anywhere packages will be available through Broadfield Distributing in two configurations: the LUMIX S1II with LiveU Solo PRO for single-operator use, and the Panasonic UB-50 with LiveU LU800 for multi-camera productions.
