Aframe have announced that its cloud video platform has been certified for the third year by FACT, the Federation Against Copyright Theft.
FACT was established 30 years ago to represent its members across the UK and global film, television, technology and sports rights industries. The organisation protects the interests of its members through intelligence gathering and by working with law enforcement organisations to generate actions against individuals and groups involved in piracy. It also assists in providing best practice on protecting its members' valuable IP from production through to release. The FACT Certification Scheme forms an important part of that overall protection.
David Peto, CEO and Founder, Aframe, comments, At Aframe we take the security of our customers' footage very seriously which is why we ensure our servers meet the toughest industry standards. We know that the intellectual property that our clients store within our portal is a core asset and protecting it is critical to their business. Through the FACT accreditation we hope that our clients can rest assured that footage is safe and secure within our environment.
As part of the accreditation Aframe has been surveyed on and passed inspection of the physical security of its building, alarm systems, access control systems, digital security, audit trails, staff vetting and training and appropriate systems for visitors. Aframe is accredited each year for a period of twelve months and will is then subject to further annual inspections to renew the accreditation. Aframe is also subject to ad hoc visits from FACT throughout the year to ensure the accreditation is being adhered to.

Aframe has proven for the third year running that is has high levels of security in order to safeguard the intellectual property rights of its customers; something we strongly encourage. Peto concludes, At Aframe we work as hard as we can to make sure the data and content that our clients upload and share via our platform is safe and secure at all times. The FACT accreditation is just one way of reassuring all clients and prospects that this is the case.
