Beltelecom took part in the 19th International Exhibition Telecommunications and Information Technologies , Bakutel-2013, held on December 2-5, 2013 in Baku (Azerbaijan).

The Exhibition brought together companies form 28 countries of the world. Within the framework of the collective stand organized by the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus, there were presented expositions of several organizations included into the system of the Ministry of Communications: RUE Beltelecom, OJSC Promsvyaz, OJSC Giprosvyaz and Republican Unitary Research and Engineering Enterprise Institute of Applied Software Systems"

In the centre - Minister of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus, Nikolai Pantelei; First Deputy Director General of RUE Beltelecom, Gennadi Melnikov; Deputy Director of OJSC Giprosvyaz, Rivkind Andrei; on the left Director of the Republican Unitary Research and Engineering Enterprise Institute of Applied Software Systems , Mikhailovsky Igor; Director of OJSC Promsvyaz, Gelyasin Alexander.

During the exhibition Beltelecom presented its activities and services in the field of telecommunications, as well as demonstrated the country's transit possibilities in the sphere of international telephone traffic transfer.

During the exhibition Beltelecom stand was visited by senior officials: Minister of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus, Nikolai Pantelei, Minister of Communications and Information Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ali Abbasov,Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Azerbaijan, Nikolai Patskevich, General Director of Aztelekom, Mahammad Asker oglu Mammadov, as well as by numerous representatives of international organizations.

Minister of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus, Nikolai Pantelei, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Azerbaijan, Nikolai Patskevich, Director of OJSC Promsvyaz, Gelyasin Alexander, First Deputy Director General of RUE Beltelecom, Gennadi Melnikov.

There were held meetings with communications operators of the Republic of Azerbaijan: International Relations and Accounting Centre of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Aztelekom Production Union and Bakcell Ltd.

During the meetings, agreements were reached on the following issues:

organization of joint seminars, workshops and exhibitions devoted to cooperation in the field of communications;

exchange of specialists and experts, as well as arrangement of visits and meetings;

implementation of mutual consultations, exchange of information and active cooperation within the framework of joint projects in the field of communications.

Agreement is signed by: First Deputy Director General of RUE Beltelecom, Gennadi Melnikov (on the left)and Director of the International Relations and Accounting Centre of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jalil Jafarov (on the right).

During the visit to the International Relations and Accounting Centre of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan there was signed an Agreement of intent on development of bilateral business and international telecommunication services provision.
