New York-based Cause & [Effect] has signed comedy director Beauxchamp for U.S. commercial representation. A lifetime storyteller, Beauxhchamp recently took the director's chair full time after 15 years working as a Copywriter and Creative Director for top agencies including DDB, JWT and BBDO. With a passion for dialogue, visual and comedic storytelling, Beauxchamp has helmed and co-written TNT co-branded spots for Dunkin' Donuts, Snickers, Iams and Pringles that blend quirky characters with clever comedic timing.

Notes Cause & [Effect] Executive Producer Jason Zemlicka, Beauxchamp's directorial style really jives with who we are as a company and is a perfect complement to our current roster. We're excited to have him on board! Adds Beauxchamp, Everything seemed to click when I connected with Cause & [Effect] and I could tell immediately it would be a good fit. I'm looking forward to bringing a comedic storytelling voice to their roster and taking advantage of their robust in-house post production services.
Beauxchamp was born and raised in Atlanta, GA and spent his school years lost in writing, drawing, photography and experimentation with Super 8 and video cameras. After studying English Literature and Fine Arts, he took a Screenwriting course and stumbled upon an advertising copywriting exhibit at the school and immediately decided to give it a go. After spending 15 years in advertising at various agencies including JWT, DDB, BBDO, he took a position at Turner Entertainment Networks. There, he had the opportunity to direct a series of spots for TNT and TBS. Those experiences would lead to a decision to move to directing full time.
In other Cause & [Effect} news, the production company has recently signed with Midwest commercial film agent Mary Ida Bonadio. Her current roster includes a range of Live Action, 3D, Interactive, VFX and Animation companies including Sonzero Films, Legend 3D, Odd Machine and Social Studies.
