MTV MEDIA launches Katsomo application for Samsung Smart TV s togeer with Accedo

MTV MEDIA launches Katsomo application for Samsung Smart TV's together with Accedo Stockholm, 13 September 2013 - MTV MEDIA's web tv service Katsomo (www.katsomo.fi) has now expanded to Smart TV sets. Owners of Samsung SmartTV's are now able to watch a vast offering of live sports and the biggest Finnish entertainment shows straight on their own TVs via the Katsomo application. Content includes both pay tv services as well as free content. The technical development was carried out by Accedo, the global market leader in TV Application Solutions.

Live sports -Formula 1, ice hockey and other Finn favourites

Katsomo offers all of the sports televised on channels included on the pay tv package MTV3 Total. Finns are now able to watch their Ice Hockey team battle for the World Championship and Kimi R ikk nen throttle on the F1 circuits - directly on their new Samsung Smart TVs.

Catch-up service for free-to-air channels

Katsomo serves as a catch-up service for MTV MEDIA's three free-to-air channels, MTV3, Sub and AVA. Programming includes the biggest Finnish entertainment and reality shows, a large selection of TV dramas and comedies from Hollywood and other popular content.
