CORUS ENTERTAINMENT APPOINTS JENNIFER LEE AS EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT AND GENERAL COUNSEL For Immediate Release

TORONTO, September 14, 2021 - Corus Entertainment Inc. (TSX:CJR.B) ( Corus Entertainment ) announced today the appointment of Jennifer (Jenn) Lee as Executive Vice President and General Counsel effective September 14, 2021.

Joining the Corus Entertainment Executive Leadership Team, Jenn Lee brings close to 20 years of legal experience with deep public company expertise in a regulated industry. Lee began her career at the law firm Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP, working with a broad span of accounts, including media and entertainment clients where she was involved with CanWest Global's acquisition of Alliance Atlantis and various transactions for Entertainment One.

During more than a decade at TD Bank Group, Lee held a number of progressive executive positions in Legal, Risk, Marketing and the Innovation, Technology and Shared Services segment. She possesses deep expertise in public company, securities and M&A legal matters along with extensive risk and regulatory experience with oversight of a diverse breadth of portfolios including shareholder relations and operational risk. Lee also has experience with environmental and social governance, including climate and emerging risks. Lee has been recognized for her Corporate Governance work and as a Leading Lawyer under 40 by Lexpert.

Lee will also assume the role of Corporate Secretary.
