AmberFin Appoints Adrian Smith as Vice President Sales in Europe, Middle East & Africa 24 Jan 2014

AmberFin, a leading developer of file-based media ingest, transcoding and quality control solutions for content owners, broadcasters, sports organizations and post-production houses has today announced the appointment of Adrian Smith as its Vice President Sales in the Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) region.

Smith is relocating to Europe after serving as the company's VP Sales Asia Pacific. Based in Singapore for four years, he was responsible for business development and direct account management in this dynamic region. He leaves AmberFin APAC in a period of strong and consistent growth in sales and customer base, helping to ensure a smooth handover to his replacement. In the EMEA region, Adrian Smith will head up AmberFin's sales management, channel management and business development activities.

Smith joins the EMEA region at a key moment in the company's evolutionary development. Recently, the company has introduced a new family of enterprise-class transcode farm control products, DPP-compliant workflow architectures and best in breed strategic extensions to its Unified Quality Control (UQC) platform.
