Cobalt Digital to Showcase IPMX/ST 2110 Ecosystem at BroadcastAsia 2026

Cobalt Digital will exhibit its IPMX/ST 2110 product lineup at BroadcastAsia 2026 (Stand 5D2-4), anchored by the COBALT blueCORE family of standalone signal processors alongside IPMX-certified audio monitors, multiviewers, gateways, compact converters, and routers.

COBALT blueCORE

The blueCORE family combines audio and video processing functions for live production in a single 1RU unit drawing less than 80W in the ST 2110 version. It features a touchscreen front panel and four illuminated knobs for local configuration, and can also be controlled remotely via a web GUI. Capabilities include up/down/cross conversion, color correction, HDR processing, audio routing and mixing, per-channel frame sync, frame rate conversion, audio embedding and de-embedding, SCTE 104, and logo insertion. The unit supports SDI inputs and outputs in copper and fiber, four channels of 3G processing or one channel up to 12G, and ST 2110/IPMX inputs and outputs.

Broadcasters are navigating a gradual shift toward IP, often within spaces where real estate is scarce. blueCORE provides the flexibility to bridge the gap between SDI and IP by delivering everything they need contained in one small unit, says Suzana Brady, SVP of Worldwide Sales and Marketing, Cobalt Digital.

COBALT PACIFIC

The COBALT PACIFIC ULL-DEC decoder now includes an ST 2110/IPMX output option, allowing decoded content to be available simultaneously over SDI and ST 2110/IPMX with a built-in PTP-locked frame sync. PACIFIC also adds support for hybrid satellite-internet delivery and a factory-installed DVB-S/S2 demodulator for satellite signal decoding, supporting Ku and Ka band distribution with internet-based packet recovery.

openGear Cards

New fixed-function openGear cards include the 9925-FSx frame sync card, supporting license upgrades up to four paths per card with an audio processing upgrade for AES, MADI, and Dante 64 support; and the 9981-LUTx color processor, supporting up to four paths per card with SCALER, BBC LUT, COLOR, 4K, LOGO, and ANC license options.

Additional Products

COBALT ARIA Audio Monitors: IPMX-certified audio monitors with 16 SDI or 64 MADI metering, a Class-D amplifier, and a customizable touchscreen front panel with eight individual volume controls.

9935-AUD4-DANTE: Quad-channel card with up to 12G Dante/AES/MADI embed and de-embed functions, frame sync, two gigabit Ethernet ports, and a 64 64 audio router mixer.

COBALT UltraBlue MV-SW Multiviewers: Available as a turnkey solution or software package with SDI and IPMX support across compressed and baseband audio/video content over IP.

COBALT SAPPHIRE Mini Converters: IPMX-capable standalone mini-converters in single, dual, and quad-channel configurations, converting between IPMX/ST 2110 and SDI/HDMI with JPEG-XS support.

COBALT INDIGO Gateways: IP-to-SDI gateways with IPMX/ST 2110 support for routing and format translation.
