SPOTV, South Korea's leading provider of linear and digital sports content, has chosen a turnkey, fully automated playout solution from Imagine Communications to provide reliable, fast-turnaround live sports transmission for regional channels in Southeast Asia from a world-class teleport and broadcast center in Cyberjaya, Malaysia. Based on Imagine's widely deployed Versio integrated playout platform and ADC automation, the end-to-end, future-proof ecosystem simplifies operations and easily scales to meet evolving needs.

SPOTV broadcasts top-tier International and Asian sports content across the region, including Wimbledon, the U.S. Open, MotoGP , ROSHN Saudi League and Major League Baseball among others. To ensure high-quality service and meet growing audience demands, SPOTV chose Imagine's Versio platform, which is relied on worldwide by media companies from single channel to large, multichannel environments and master control operations.

SPOTV's new fully redundant 6+2 channel origination workflow is built on Versio with embedded instances of ADC automation software, which integrates with more devices and business systems than any other automation product, helping to ensure a seamless workflow environment. Imagine's industry-proven Nexio+ AMP high-performance video servers with automatic input format detection manage content ingest. Material is managed and workflow control is provided by Versio Content Portal, and Nexio Motion asset management software ensures the correct content is loaded onto the Versio instances in plenty of time for scheduled playout.

Versio integrated playout delivers tiered solutions to fit any budget and channel creation need. In a compact form factor, it offers the full spectrum of playout capabilities advanced graphic insertion, Key and Fill support, live master control switching, SCTE insertion, audio shuffling, loudness control, and more enabling SPOTV to reduce the number of physical devices needed in their transmission chain. In addition, the platform s single-user interface simplifies SPOTV's operations and enables easy monitoring and maintenance.
