Baby Sussex: These are the popular names as royal baby watch' continues

Meghan Markle is now a week overdue, and the Royal baby watch continues. Will Baby Sussex arrive this week?

Buckingham Palace's announcement that Prince Harry will visit the Netherlands on Wednesday 8 May has sparked speculation among Royal fans.

The controversial due dateConspiracy theorists believe that Markle had already given birth. Even Jenna Bush said in an interview on The Today Show that thinks Baby Sussex already made an arrival.

To add fuel to the fire, Prince Charles and Camilla will be visiting Germany from 7 May for a three-day tour. Fans are finding it hard to believe that Charles will be out of the country during his grandchild's birth.

Amid all the speculation about when Baby Sussex arrives - or whether the tot arrived already - Royal fans are also scratching their collective heads over baby names.

Princess Eugenie's wedding to Jack Brooksbanks also had fans excited about the prospect of more Royal babies.

Royal experts suggest that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will go for a traditional name. Perhaps Grace or Victoria for a girl, or Edward and Arthur for a boy.

Even though Princess Charlotte has Diana' as a second name, it is also likely that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will choose it as a first name if they have a daughter, in honour of the late Princess Diana.

At the other end of the spectrum, there are those who believe that Meghan and Harry would choose a modern name. After all, the Queen has a 9-year-old granddaughter named Savannah, and the Sussex's might keep that trend going.

If that is the case, it's important to note that the most popular baby names in the US are Emma and Liam, while in the UK it is Olivia and Oliver. Prince Liam or Princess Olivia sounds cute, doesn't it?

Royal successionThe Sussex's may just have the freedom to be a bit creative with a name as it is extremely unlikely for their sprout to end up on the throne one day.

Baby Sussex will only have succession after Prince Charles, Prince William, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis and Prince Harry.

That is why Prince William and Duchess Catherine chose traditional names for their children, as Prince George is likely to be King one day.
