Ten Sports Pakistan Embraced Grass Valley Solutions for 2014 FIFA World Cup Studio Production

MONTREAL, July 29, 2014 As fans around the world gathered to cheer for their favorite teams, live production studios were relying on state-of-the-art solutions for creating engaging content, including program highlights and replays. Grass Valley, a Belden Brand, supplied Ten Sports Pakistan Beam, based in Film City, Noida and owned by Zee Entertainment Ltd., with one K2 Dyno Replay System and one K2 Summit 3G Production Client for the production of the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Grass Valley provided training and on-site support to ensure that Ten Sports was up and running quickly with its new solution.

For Ten Sports, one of the primary advantages of utilizing K2 Dyno was the ability to very quickly produce highlight packages and playlists for specific players or teams. This was particularly important this year, given the number of late goals and penalty kick situations. The group was able to set up replays right away and use those highlights in the studio programs that immediately followed the games.
