
Sir Martin Sorrell chairman of British multinational advertising and public relations group WPP will feature as keynote speaker on the opening day of the Media Summit 2014 a EUROVISION and EURORADIO event in Vienna, 28 May.
Designed for media visionaries, strategic thinkers and leaders, the two-day event focuses on trends that the media industry must look at today to steer their future strategies over the next ten years.
With some places still available for innovation experts, futurists, planners, entrepreneurs, the Summit will feature keynote speakers who will examine brand, design thinking, partnerships, culture, content and the power of the millennial generation.
EUROVISION Media Director Annika Nyberg Frankenhaeuser says the event offers the how-to' for the what-if.'
Participants will come away from the event with renewed confidence, she said, with specific plans and ideas to implement today so their organisations will be ready for tomorrow.

Renowned media innovation strategist Jigar Mehta will introduce the concept behind Design Thinking,' the hottest trend out of Stanford and Silicon Valley.
Mehta will bring Summit participants on their feet, demonstrating how they can generate hundreds of innovative ideas in minutes.
No company can survive without establishing and maintaining collaborative partnerships.
Cilla Benko, Director General of Swedish Radio, Deiter Boen, Manager of Research and Innovation for VRT Belgium and Madhav Chinnappa, Head of News Partnerships International for Google, will address how local and global cooperation can be achieved and even more importantly how to find that good partner today. For tomorrow.
Jeff Jarvis, Director of the Tow-Knight Center for Entrepreneurial Journalism and author of What Would Google Do'' will look at Reinvention of Media: rethinking the outcomes media leaders intend to achieve and the relationship they can have with the public. He will also challenge delegates to re-examine what the media do well: explain, summarise, discuss, convene and witness.
Content is always key. Tom Himpe, Founding Partner of the Upside UK, and Brian Seth Hurst, CEO of The Opportunity Management Company, will define transmedia' and share their perspectives on moving audiences through content and creating story worlds; ultimately immersing them in the brand and creating longer lasting connections.
And then there's the youth. Gen Y, Millennials or Switched-On generation, they're already avid media consumers now with ever-increasing appetites for information, entertainment and expectations in the years to come. Daniel Erlacher, founder of the Elevate art, music and political Festival, and Ruby Pseudo, CEO of the Global Creative Youth Insights agency will discuss the complexity of combining short attention spans and instant online gratification with vast information stores and their desire to make the world a better place. Most importantly, what all of this means to the future.
Closing the Summit is keynote speaker Magnus Lindkvist, Futureologist and author of Everything We Know Is Wrong', The Attack of The Unexpected' and When The Future Begins,' who will urge all participants to think far beyond the next fiscal quarter and to keep ahead of the business world today and tomorrow.
