Introducing its innovative optical products and solutions to the US broadcast market for the first time, Densitron (stand C9032), a creator of display technology and a global leader in monitor and embedded computing solutions, will be demonstrating its new strategic commitment to the industry. Its stand will highlight a rich selection of displays with exceptionally high resolution, contrast and brightness, featuring some of the most advanced display and touchscreen technology available. It will also introduce a series of firsts' for NAB including a new single board computer and an unparalleled, broadcast-focused family of display products to be launched at the show (details to be released later).
Recent investments have made it possible for Densitron to bring to NAB new, fully-developed products previously shown only as prototypes. These include 1U and 2U rack-mounted solutions specifically designed to meet broadcast demands.
We tested the market at BVE and IBC 2017 and were delighted by the industry response. This gave us confidence to invest further in our broadcast industry drive the results of which can be seen on show at NAB, says Chris Goodhall, Densitron global business director for broadcast.
Among the other products on display will be an 8 2U IPS TFT display. This is available with a Projected Capacitive Touch (PCT) screen option, optically bonded, with or without haptic technology, and features exceptional 1600 x 480 resolution for this form factor. Its size makes it ideal for any 2U rack mounted application.
Demonstrating Densitron's dedication to helping customers reduce time to market for new applications, the stand will also feature the company's in-house-designed single board computer, along with its versatile, application-specific software.
Tried and tested products too
Aside from its newly-launched products, Densitron will also be showing some of its renowned best sellers such as its 2.4 and 5 TFTs. These are packed with features, from fast response time and ultra-wide viewing angles, to high resolution, high contrast ratio IPS panels, sunlight readable TFT displays, or high brightness and rugged design TFT displays. They are available with or without Touch Panels (PCT / PCAP / Resistive.)
Already popular with UK and European broadcasters, and about to make their US debut, are Densitron's bar/cut monitors, plus a series of Densitron's larger monitors. Among other highlights will be 15.6 and 17.3 monitors with 4K pixel resolution and contrast ratio in excess of 1000:1.
Densitron's stand will also celebrate the company's new partnership with IPE Technologies, the designer and provider of hardware and software solutions to major UK and global broadcasters, underlining its determination to provide customers with an all-round solution. There will be live demonstrations on the stand throughout the day.
