Uzalo actor Ntokozo TK' Dlamini who's known for playing Mastermind in the soapie has joined Mzansi Magic's DiepCity as Bafana.

The actor revealed that he's started filming for his new role.

-- TK DLAMINI'S NEW ROLE Fans of popular Uzalo actor TK Dlamini will be delighted to know that the actor has joined to play the character of Bafana.

Dlamini confirmed his new role with Daily Sun and said his character would bring in a lot of drama.

Bafana comes back to Diepsloot after years of living in the fancy suburbs of Fourways with his father, who is a renowned businessman.

The actor adds that his character will be caught up in a messy situation that proves the notion: three is a crowd.

He says he's thrilled to be joining DiepCity as Bafana will show viewers a different perspective on my craft as opposed to characters I've portrayed before.

Bafana loves the soft life but also enjoys the rush of Diepsloot, which makes this character even more interesting. It's going to be quite a beautiful journey.

Heads turn when he walks by and hearts melt when he speaks, but who will get to steal his heart.

It is unclear who Bafana will be dating on the show when he joins the telenovela.

PLAYING MASTERMIND IN UZALO' Uzalo fans were thrilled when his character Mastermind returned to KwaMashu this month (January).

He appeared briefly to assist Gugu Gumede's character - MaMlambo to deal with drugs in KwaMashu.

Dlamini also made a short appearance in 2021 after taking a break for a few years to assist Dawn Thandeka King's character (MaNgcobo).

He will join Dawn Thandeka King in DiepCity who plays the role of Thandiwe on the Mzansi Magic telenovela.

Viewers of DiepCity can catch TK Dlamini as Bafana from next Monday (31 January) at 8.30 pm on Mzansi Magic.
