Mariner xVu Awarded Contract With a Global Tier 1 Operator to Provide Software Defined Monitoring for Over 10 Million Devices 06 Sep 2013

Mariner, a leading global provider of IP video solutions, today announced that it will provide its Mariner xVu Software Defined Monitoring (SDM) solution for one of the worlds largest TV operators. Mariner xVu will help the operators network and support teams to centrally manage complexity, reduce OPEX, and improve customer satisfaction as they deliver more video content to core television and second-screen devices. As one of the largest deals recorded for software-based IP video Quality of Experience (QoE) monitoring, the contract demonstrates the operators goal of being No. 1 in its market for TV and mobile video quality.

The highly scalable Mariner xVu software will provide video quality monitoring for over 10 million devices by the end of 2013 and the operator is planning to reach 20 million devices within five years.
