M2A Media has confirmed two new appointments to its senior leadership team.

Joining as the company's new CEO, Ciar n Doran will work alongside Marcus Box, who takes up the role of founder and CTO.

Incoming CEO at M2A Media, Ciar n Doran Doran is well-known in the industry following his stints with Rohde & Schwarz and Pixel Power in senior leadership roles, his experience also includes more than a decade at both Sony and Harris Broadcast, encompassing engineering, product management, commercial and executive roles. Recently, his Deep Blue Sapphire organisation has specialised in bringing innovative technologies to market.

Commenting on the appointment, Marcus Box, founder and CTO, M2A Media said, Ciar n's astute commercial expertise and excellent reputation in the industry precedes him. We are delighted to welcome him to the M2A family as CEO at this exciting stage of the company's growth. I look forward to learning from his considerable experience as we guide M2A to its next stage of development.

Doran added, M2A broke new ground in 2016 when it launched its first cloud-based live video & VoD solutions and has secured and maintained an impressive roster of customers. Graham Pitman takes on the role of chairperson to M2A Media's board of directors. An original founder of Pro-Bel, he was awarded the EY Private Equity deal of the year in 2008 for his work on the merger of Pro-Bel and S&W to create Snell.

Appointed an honorary member of IABM in 2019, Pitman is also a director of IABM Ltd, owner of the IABM share of IBC. Pitman holds a portfolio of non-executive roles and will provide the company with strategic direction to support its growth plans.
