MIX 101.5s Radiothon Starts Today

MIX 101.5 invites you to listen with your heart during their 19th annual MIX Radiothon for the Kids at Duke which starts today, Tues, Feb 12th and runs through tomorrow, Wed, Feb 13th. The 2013 Radiothon is raising funds to support Duke Childrens Hospital.

Broadcasting live from the McGovern-Davison Childrens Health Center, Bill Jordan & Lynda Loveland will kick things off at 6am, and a host of other MIX personalities, patients families, pediatricians and special friends will be on the air from 6am to 6pm both days.

There are a variety of easy ways to help:

PLEDGE TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Listeners can pledge online at wralfm.com or by phone - toll free at 1-866-684-1015, or locally at (919) 684-1015.



CALL IN TO WIN BIG DURING RADIOTHON

Listeners who tune in during Radiothon will hear about special perks and incentives exclusive to donors who call in to pledge by phone. Hear from Duke Athletics during the following air times:

FANTASTIC SAMS CUT-A-THON

Fantastic Sams Hair Salons are clipping up a fantastic contribution to benefit Duke Childrens. Visit any Fantastic Sams in eastern North Carolina on Saturday, February 9 for the Fantastic Sams Cut-A-Thon. Each Fantastic Sams will donate $2 of each haircut to Radiothon. Get your hair cut for a great cause!

MAKE IT COUNT

Collect loose change, dollar bills and donations of any shape or size for the Coins for Kids fund-raiser. Donations of any amount make a difference. Bring your donation to Radiothon's Piggy Bank Day on Wednesday, February 13 from 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM to have your coins counted in the coin machine. BAILEYS FREE WATCH BATTERY
