Chyron, Hego, and TRACAB announced today that they are working jointly with Univisions TUDN, the undisputed home of soccer in the U.S., and multimedia sports brand of Univision Communications Inc., to provide a complete solution for real-time capture and visualization of player tracking data for its broadcasts of Liga MX, the top division of Mexicos professional soccer league system. Hego is providing extensive operations and production services using TRACABs unparalleled tracking technology along with Chyrons PRIME, Virtual Placement, and Paint solutions to create and deliver sponsored and branded data-driven graphics in real time, as well as virtual ad insertion and state-of-the-art telestration.

In spite of COVID-related restrictions and the challenge of working across multiple languages and countries, Hego deployed the solution and a newly trained operations team across four key stadiums - Estadio Azteca, Estadio Ol mpico Universitario, Estadio Nemesio D ez, and Universitario - and production centers in Mexico City and Miami within just 10 weeks.
The end-to-end managed service provided by Hego extends from the acquisition of tracking data through delivery of that content to broadcast. Data-driven graphics inserted into the broadcast supply key metrics, highlight player positioning and movement, and use dynamic markers, lines, shading, heat maps, labels, and more to give viewers an in-depth understanding of performance, strategy, and other critical aspects of the match. Additionally, using its new SOLO flypack solution, which also incorporates TRACAB technology and Chyron graphics solutions, Hego will have the ability to take this player tracking and data-driven graphics creation model mobile for future matches played from a variety of venues.
