Mistika VR and Boutique takes the user experience to a whole new level with a brand new VR Headset Preview feature

SGO has announced VR Headset Preview for the industry's favorite stitching software Mistika VR and full-finishing and color grading solution Mistika Boutique. This functionality is being supported through the integration of DeoVR, a platform-agnostic and completely free of charge VR player.

With the large and ever increasing number of different headsets on the market, we wanted to find the most efficient solution for the vast majority of Mistika users. This is why we have decided to integrate support for the DeoVR player, enabling video preview in practically any VR headset and on additional platforms, such as tablets, mobile phones or laptops, explained Roman Dudek, Mistika VR Product Manager at SGO.

This functionality is currently in the Open Beta phase and we want to invite the global VR community to provide us with their feedback. We would also like to thank our friends from DeoVR for their continued support and we truly hope that this new feature will enrich our users' experience and significantly speed up their workflow.

You can now watch and share VR videos before rendering them. Then upload the content on DeoVR.com to make it stream on every VR headset. Free of charge for all active subscribersAs a part of the SGO Loyalty Rewards Program, all Mistika VR and Boutique users with active subscriptions* will get the new VR Headset Feature completely free of charge.** Every new purchase of Mistika VR Personal Edition and Mistika Boutique Personal and Professional edition during the Open Beta period will also get this functionality included for free.

After the period of Open Beta, VR Headset Preview will only be included in the Professional Edition of Mistika VR and in the Immersive and Professional Immersive Edition of Mistika Boutique.

**During the period of Open Beta, the VR Headset Preview feature is not included in the Evaluation versions of Mistika VR and Mistika Boutique.

How to enable VR Headset Preview in Mistika VR and Boutique?

1.Right next to the VR view icon you will notice a brand-new HS button. When you click on it, a pop up window will appear, instructing you to copy your computer IP website address and paste it in the DeoVR player.

2. Open the DeoVR player on your preferred platform and paste the IP address. If you do not have the DeoVR player installed, click here and install the application.

IMPORTANT: Please make sure to use the same network connection for both the workstation where you run the Mistika VR and the VR Headset where you want to see the preview.

3. Make sure you click the play button in Mistika to get the video output in DeoVR.
