The Notorious Brand New Series Starting Monday 26th January RT 2 19 January 2015: Following the critical acclaim and success of last years Reality Bites: The Notorious, Conor McGregor is back and this time hes bringing the family.
The brand-new six-part series follows McGregor and his meteoric rise, using exclusive behind-the-scenes footage with the most exciting sports star of the moment as he gets even closer to becoming UFC world champion.
Filmed over the course of six months, The Notorious will delve into the rapidly expanding world of mixed martial arts and, through Conor's eyes, will explore the physical and mental strain a fighter has to go through to become an Ultimate Fighting Champion. From Dublin to Rio, Las Vegas and finally Boston, we see how both McGregor's reputation and skills in the octagon are matched by a personality and charisma that has captured the imagination of fans worldwide. Love him or hate him, you can t help but watch him.
Over the three fights, McGregor must contend not only with his opponents, but with injury, personal challenges, and the pressure that goes with immense popularity and expectation. With the eyes of the world on him, Conor has everything to lose in a profession that treads a fine line between failure and success.

Two years ago Conor McGregor was an apprentice plumber grinding out a living on the building sites of Dublin city. Now, the path is set for him to get a shot at the world title. The Notorious will give viewers a glimpse at just how this heroic feat was accomplished. With exclusive footage that reveals both Conor's professional and personal life, from gym retreats in Iceland to the love and support of his family, it's clear that there's much more to this man than a sharp tongue and flashy suits.
