SGO wins Hollywood Professional Association Engineering Excellence Award For The Second Year Running

New Mistika VR receives coveted award for its outstanding technical capabilities

SGO is proud to announce it has been awarded the 2017 HPA Engineering Excellence Award for its Mistika VR, the affordable VR focused solution with real-time stitching capabilities using Mistika Optical Flow Technology. The Engineering Excellence Awards recognises companies and individuals that provide outstanding services to the professional media content industry. The award will be presented to SGO on November 16, 2017 at the 12th annual HPA Awards gala at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles, CA.

By taking the best of its turnkey offering and previous HPA Award winning Mistika Ultima', SGO has developed advanced workflow applications aimed at specific tasks. The new VR solution uses Mistika Optical Flow Technology that takes camera position information and sequences then stitches the images together using extensive and intelligent pre-sets. Its unique stitching algorithms take away the many challenges facing post-production teams to allow for the highest image quality.
