Genelec incorporates cloud services and presents the subwoofer 7380 SAM Por primera vez, los usuarios de los sistemas SAM de Genelec podr n acceder a los servicios en la nube de GLM, en cualquier lugar y en cualquier momento, proporcionando un respaldo seguro y un acceso instant neo a las m s recientes actualizaciones del programa.

Tras revolucionar el monitoreo activo durante m s de una d cada con el desarrollo del software de control de monitores GLM (Genelec Loudspeaker Manager), el continuo proceso de investigaci n de Genelec ha conducido a la introducci n de GLM 3, que incorpora servicios beta en la nube y ajuste del nivel de referencia.

Por primera vez, los usuarios de los sistemas SAM de Genelec podr n acceder a los servicios en la nube de GLM, en cualquier lugar y en cualquier momento, proporcionando un respaldo seguro y un acceso instant neo a las m s recientes actualizaciones del programa. Las nuevas caracter sticas del nivel de referencia han sido desarrolladas en respuesta a los est ndares internacionales en broadcast, que requieren calibrar los niveles de escucha para posibilitar que los programas sean intercambiables a trav s de diferentes condiciones de escucha.

Desde su presentaci n, el software GLM ha ayudado a los profesionales del audio a calibrar autom ticamente, bajo plataformas Mac y PC, sus sistemas de monitores Genelec SAM, proporcionando un desempe o completamente optimizado para su entorno ac stico.

GLM 3 permitir a cada usuario registrado usar tanto la opci n local como el servicio beta en nube, con la posibilidad de cambiar entre ambos. El servicio en nube ofrece espacio para almacenar tres calibraciones de sistemas completos, cada una con 10 grupos, para un total de 30 ajustes ac sticos, a la vez que la ayuda en l nea posibilitar a los usuarios enviar sus ficheros GLM a soporte y asesor a expertos.

La nueva funcionalidad de Nivel de Referencia permite a los usuarios calibrar los niveles de escucha de acuerdo a los est ndares sobre loudness EBUR128 y ATSC A/85, combinando el alineamiento del sistema y la compensaci n de la respuesta en frecuencia in-situ con el nivel de escucha calibrado a una referencia espec fica de sonoridad. GLM 3 proporciona ahora esta caracter stica esencial, sin la necesidad de agregar un controlador externo de monitores de alta calidad u otras herramientas de medida.

Adem s, puesto que una respuesta en frecuencia predecible es clave en el monitoreo de referencia, GLM 3 tambi n incorpora nuevas caracter sticas de personalizaci n, haciendo f cil para el usuario personalizar su respuesta deseada partiendo de la respuesta plana ideal, sin sacrificar la predictibilidad.

Otras mejoras notables incluyen la capacidad de ajustar la sensibilidad de la funci n de ahorro de energ a ISS de cada monitor de Genelec, un comprobador de nivel de micr fono y un indicador del tipo de audio usado, adem s de otras mejoras, cuadros de interacci n y correcciones diversas. GLM 3 tambi n incluye un sencillo sistema para actualizar el firmware que permite a todos los monitores SAM habilitar estas nuevas caracter sticas instant neamente.

Subwoofer insignia 7380 SAM

El nuevo buque insignia de la l nea de subwoofers SAM, puede ser f cilmente integrado en cualquier sistema de monitores (est reo o multicanal), as como formar parte de instalaciones de sonido inmersivo 3D de gran formato, proporcionando f cilmente un rendimiento normalmente asociado a recintos mucho mayores. Equipado con una nueva secci n de amplificaci n Clase-D adem s de todos los beneficios de la tecnolog a SAM, el 7380 ha sido dise ado para exceder los requerimientos de los profesionales m s exigentes en la producci n musical, post-producci n, cine y TV.

Adem s, el 7380 se asocia perfectamente con The Ones , la serie de monitores coaxiales de 3 v as de Genelec, especialmente en la configuraci n de sistemas inmersivos para aquellos que trabajan con formatos Dolby Atmos, Auro-3D o DTS:X.

Con tan solo 685 mm de altura, un ancho de 718 mm y una profundidad de 492 mm, el 7380 acoge un amplificador Clase-D de 800 W que mueve un woofer personalizado de 15 pulgadas que, junto con el aclamado recinto en espiral LSE de Genelec, produce un impresionante nivel m ximo de 119 dB de presi n sonora (123 dB pico), adem s de una precisa respuesta en baja frecuencia que alcanza hasta los 16 Hz.

La incorporaci n de la reconocida tecnolog a SAM de Genelec coloca al 7380 en el coraz n de la familia de monitores y subwoofers inteligentes que conforman la amplia gama de Genelec. Con el programa GLM para PC o Mac, se pueden conectar en red hasta 40 monitores y subwoofers SAM de Genelec, trabajar con distintas configuraciones de carga instant nea, y beneficiarse de las avanzadas caracter sticas de auto-calibraci n que incluyen ajustes de nivel, alineamiento de tiempos de llegada y fase, adem s del ajuste en frecuencia. Los usuarios de GLM se benefician de las amplias funcionalidades de compensaci n de la sala que incluyen una frecuencia de corte ajustable y 20 filtros de ranura param tricos, asegurando que el 7380 pueda ser optimizado para conseguir el mejor rendimiento posible, incluso en los entornos ac sticos m s complejos.

Importante destacar que GLM tambi n permite configurar sistemas de gesti n de graves tanto centralizados como descentralizados, dependiendo del tipo de monitores que se utilicen, garantizando compatibilidad con anteriores modelos de Genelec e incluso con otros sistemas anal gicos.

Por ello, el 7380 es tambi n eficaz en un entorno no SAM. Un completo conjunto de controles DIP, f cilmente accesibles en el panel frontal, permiten un modo de trabajo independiente incorporando las principales caracter sticas de ajuste, incluyendo calibraci n avanzada para sistemas h bridos en los que se usan monitores tradicionales. En el modo independiente, la frecuencia de cruce est fijada a 85 Hz.
