TIME features a piece by Michelle Satter, Sundance Institute Founding Senior Director of Artist Programs, offering a moving tribute to Robert Redford. It recollects how their collaboration came to be and evolved along with the artist programs, moments together at the labs with artists, the importance of community that Bob upheld, and uplifts the vital work that he established and the Institute will carry on.
Bob's greatest legacy will be this: his generosity of time, the knowledge he shared, the space he made for others.
