Newcomer Lindah Majola who plays the role of Langa on Showmax's telenovela The Wife has scored a new cooking reality TV show The Wedding Chef.

The new cooking reality show will be aired on SABC1 with Majola as the host.

LINDAH MAJOLA IN THE WEDDING CHEF' TikToker and chef Linda Majola who stars in The Wife as Langa has scored a new cooking reality show titled The Wedding Chef on SABC1.

The cooking reality show is about a chef who meets with an engaged couple while bringing a wedding celebration week to your screens.

The 25-year-old actor is a professional chef in real life, who worked in his trailer, cooking and making fries for people every day before his big break on The Wife.

The actor studied Catering Management at the Durban University of Technology and graduated Cum Laude with his National Diploma.

I'm coming from working in my trailer, cooking and making fries for people every day, so now to be here with the kings and queens of their respectable fields, it's been an amazing opportunity for me.

PLAYING LANGA IN THE WIFE' Lindah Majola is also known for racking up a number of fans through his viral comedic skits on social media.

He started creating content for TikTok when hard lockdowns were implemented during COVID-19.

I started sharing it also on Instagram, which a lot of people appreciated.

That was when people started seeing that I had a talent of being an actor and a talent to communicate to people.

And so I auditioned for the role of uLanga.

And after several months, I heard that I got the role. So from TikTok to TV.

He plays Hlomu's (Mbali Mavimbela) flamboyant and outspoken twin brother.

He's really just navigating the new world that Langa is in and dealing with a lot of homophobia from the Zulu brothers.

Langa is honestly the embodiment of his name. He's the sun.

He brings sunshine. He brings the brightness to the room.

The character is not far-fetched from whom Linda is, and they have shared similar experiences too, he shares.
