EVS solutions make possible the first United States open in 4K Servidores XT3, un avanzado sistema de transferencia y transcodificaci n y herramientas de ltima generaci n para la producci n de highlights conforman el workflow de Fox Sports para esta producci n deportiva.
Fox Sports used numerous solutions of EVS para la producci n por vez primera en 4K del Abierto de Golf de Estados Unidos de tenis.
En el coraz n del workflow de la unidad m vil Glory de Game Creek Video que produjo el evento para Fox encontramos los servidores de producci n XT3 que sirvieron de base para la operativa 4K desde tres tres hoyos producidos en Ultra Ata Definici n: los hoyos 3, 15, y 17. Un flujo de trabajo de repetici n 4K XT3 LSM de EVS permiti ofrecer las mismas capacidades remotas en esta producci n UHD como si se tratase de HD.
En cuanto a la unidad m vil Encore de Game Creek desplazada tambi n para la cobertura del Abierto emple un total de 17 servidores XT3 con 10 Gigabit Ethernet compatibles DNxHD, 16 canales de audio y c maras Phantom de ultra alta velocidad. Ocho suite IPDirector agilizaron la gesti n de contenidos in situ y remota con la posibilidad de controlar completamente y mover activos, incluido desde la propia red de Sky Sports que tambi n compart a derechos del campeonato.
IPDirector tambi n fue utilizado para la transmisi n en vivo por parte de Fox Sports y la USGA (Asociaci n de Golf de Estados Unidos). Las soluciones duales XFile3 de EVS permitieron a su vez mover archivos desde y hacia Avid Isis de forma r pida y f cil, mientras que el software de puerta de enlace XTAccess proporcion funciones cr ticas de transcodificaci n y archivo.
Un cambio importante en esta edici n introducido en la unidad de producci n Encore es el uso del sistema MultiReview de EVS que form parte fundamental en las operaciones on-air.
El sistema permit a que m ltiples canales de repetici n con informaci n de c digo y evento (por ejemplo un hoyo determinado) estuvieran disponible para que el director o realizador pudieran crear r pidamente una lista de reproducci n de clips relacionados con el evento.
Howard Feinberg, jefe de operaciones de repetici n en este evento, afirma que si una c mara est en el aire podemos en entrar, corregir y editar material. MultiReview es una herramienta absolutamente perfecta para esta aplicaci n. En el golf, hay 18 o m s historias que suceden al mismo tiempo en cada hoyo. Con MultiReview podemos recrear los momentos clave en cualquier momento .
MultiReview proporciona acceso s ncrono a hasta 16 ngulos de c mara, con herramientas avanzadas como la creaci n de destacados automatizados, lo que eleva y acelera el proceso de producci n.
EVS tambi n proporcion un flujo de trabajo de archivo para la USGA utilizando servidores XT3 de 12 canales, IPDirector y otras soluciones para facilitar el acceso a los contenidos de FOX Sports, as como los feeds internacionales.
