Dailymotion, the world's second largest video portal, is exclusively screening the Bloodstock Open Air 2013 metal music festival live, globally, from 8th - 11th August.

The annual event, staged at Catton Park, Derbyshire in the UK, is a leading metal music festival. Bloodstock will feature performances by bands such as Slayer, Lamb of God and Anthrax.

The festival has been running since 2001, originating from an indoor festival started by artist Paul Raymond Gregory and still run and promoted by the Gregory family. It won the Best Medium sized festival in 2012 and now boasts three stages of cutting edge metal. This is the second year Dailymotion in partnership with Virtual Festivals has live streamed Bloodstock.

Silver Bullet Entertainment will manage the live stream of the event. The content is live streamed exclusively on the Dailymotion player which can be viewed on Dailymotion or embedded in any website.

Last year's festival received nearly 230,000 views across the three days - bringing the UK's fastest growing metal festival to an international audience.

Dailymotion will have a live stream from the main stage throughout the festival and has secured the rights to stream Saturday headliners, Lamb of God and many other mainstage bands, including Anthrax, Avantasia and Accept.
