Actress and producer, Ayanda Borotho, has announced that she will star in her first-ever horror film titled, Every Day Is Halloween.

She announced the news on her Instagram account two days ago (26 October) that she will play a leading role in the horror film.

YOU AIN'T SEEN NOTHING YET' The actress told her followers that her fans had wondered what she's been busy with since her Mzansi Magic drama series, Nqobile ended a few weeks ago.

She co-produced the popular drama series which starred Scandal! actress, Nqobile Khumalo and Kagiso Medupe.

She began her Instagram video by saying:

I'm in a film. I play a very thrilling film.

It is premiering on 31 October at the DStv Box Office. It's a horror, you guys.

I hope you are ready. If you think you've seen horror, scary movies, you ain't seen nothing yet, she added.

The actress who's terrified of horror movies says she was sceptical about the role because she screams every time she watches horror movies.

Of course, it was a little bit hard at first when I heard about it.

For every horror I've watched, I literally scream through it, so how do you expect me to be in the movie when I battle to watch the movies?

She said she changed her mind when the director sat her down and explained his vision for the movie.

Entertainment commentator, Phil Mphela, states that the film is about a tale of a mother and daughter who are hunted down by a killer and end up trapped in a spiral of terror in their home.

Fans of the actress can watch her in Every Day Is Halloween this coming Sunday, 31 October on DStv's Box Office.
