The General meeting of shareholders of HISPASAT ha aprobado este mi rcoles por unanimidad las cuentas anuales correspondientes al ejercicio 2015, que incluyen la distribuci n de un dividendo de 12,5 millones de euros entre su accionariado. De nuevo se vuelve a confirmar en el pasado ejercicio la solidez financiera y el elevado nivel de rentabilidad de la compa a y, al mismo tiempo, se confirman los planes de crecimiento previstos.
En 2015, los ingresos del grupo han alcanzado los 219,6 millones de euros gracias al esfuerzo comercial desarrollado durante el ejercicio. Este esfuerzo tambi n se ha reflejado en la cifra de capacidad espacial contratada a largo plazo (back-log), que se ha situado en el equivalente a siete a os de ingresos de la compa a, una de las cifras m s elevadas del sector satelital.
Los ingresos por arrendamiento de capacidad espacial han supuesto 216,4 millones de euros, un 9,7% m s que en el ejercicio anterior. Hispasat se ha beneficiado del efecto positivo del tipo de cambio, favorecido por la fortaleza del d lar, que ha contrarrestado la fuerte depreciaci n del real brasile o.
Por reas geogr ficas, el 65,4% del total de ingresos por arrendamiento de capacidad espacial se originaron en el mercado americano, el 33,64%, en Europa y el 0,96% se obtuvo en otras regiones.
El EBITDA consolidado se situ en 178,9 millones de euros y el margen EBITDA/ingresos alcanz el 81,5%, una cifra superior a la media del sector. La inversi n alcanz en 2015 los 245 millones de euros, destinados fundamentalmente a los sat lites que est n en construcci n (Hispasat 36W-1, Amazonas 5 e Hispasat 30W-6), as como a proyectos de innovaci n.
Dado su car cter estrat gico, la compa a cuenta en su capital con la presencia del sector p blico espa ol (Sociedad Estatal de Participaciones Industriales -SEPI- y Centro para el Desarrollo Tecnol gico e Industrial -CDTI-), un operador de telecomunicaciones (Eutelsat) y Abertis, uno de los grupos l deres en Espa a en la gesti n de infraestructuras y servicios de telecomunicaciones, que el 12 de noviembre de 2013 se hizo con el control de la compa a al aumentar su participaci n accionarial.
