Amagi, the media industry cloud platform for unified broadcast, streaming, and monetization, today announced that Law&Crime has migrated its Court TV channel, spanning live broadcast and Free Ad-supported Streaming TV (FAST), onto Amagi CLOUDPORT. The move replaces a patchwork of manual, disconnected systems with a single automated cloud platform, giving viewers more reliable access to Court TVs live and breaking news coverage across broadcast, streaming, and connected TV.

Following its acquisition of Court TV, Law&Crime initiated the migration of the network's operations in-house, with just five months to complete the transition without disrupting a programming schedule built around real-time breaking news. Amagi's cloud-native platform enabled Law&Crime to modernize Court TV's infrastructure quickly and efficiently, while avoiding the equipment delays typically associated with traditional broadcast transitions. Amagi also developed custom automation to support key operational workflows to help ensure Court TV's breaking coverage remained seamless throughout the transition. Court TV's live operations are now managed through Amagi Intella, Amagi's AI-powered managed services platform.

Court TV broadcasts roughly 10 hours of live programming each weekday, which is automatically repackaged into weekend syndication - all without manual rebuilding. Before the channel went live on the new platform, Amagi tested every playlist, metadata feed, and distribution endpoint against Court TVs prior setup. When Law&Crime flagged late-stage readiness concerns, Amagi added support rather than holding to the original timeline, including ten days of hands-on hypercare and an onboarding specialist on-site for the first week. The result: Court TV moved across every downstream platform with zero disruption to live service.
