On September 1, 2020, the 2019-20 Mens Volleyball Super League finals ended at the Qinhuangdao National Sports Training Center. The Shanghai Mens Volleyball Team defeated the Jiangsu Mens Volleyball Team with score of 2-0 and won the championship for the sixth consecutive year. This is also the 16th championship of the Shanghai Mens Volleyball Team. This seasons mens volleyball league played the first round on January 19, and it came to an abrupt suspension because of the epidemic. It was not until August 20 that the game was rekindled at the Qinhuangdao National Sports Training Center. Drawing on the successful experience of the CBA and Chinese Football Association Super League (CSL), the mens volleyball league this season has also adopted a closed game system and an empty field for the needs of epidemic prevention and control.
