Cut+Run editor Akiko Iwakawa reunited with director Jun Diaz to collaborate on the new Normal brand launch film Ear Tailor via agency Partners & Spade. The surreal & original film presents the makings of equally original 3D printed headphones, custom make exactly for each user's ears by Normal - even your right one will differ from your left.

Normal was definitely one of the wildest projects that Ive seen in recent years, in the most positive way, says Akiko. I couldnt believe my eyes when I saw the dailies...

Akiko Iwakawa and Jun Diaz collaborated last year on the CFDA fashion award films, which introduced categories and the honored designers with compelling narrative vignettes. The films were featured at the annual awards gala and online.
