Sky Mobile launches Swap, the radically new, affordable way to get the latest phone every year

Sky is set to shake up the mobile market again as it launches Swap - a new, affordable way to get the phone you want, when you want.

UK consumers are often locked into long-term contracts without the option to upgrade to a new phone before the end of their contract. From Thursday 30 March 2017, for the first time people can get the very latest model every year with Swap12 or choose Swap24 to get our lowest monthly price on bestselling phones. Swap is free of charges - no upgrade fees, no admin charges and delivered for free.

Swap will be available on the entire range of handsets that Sky Mobile offers including Samsung, LG and Sony.

Customers told us they want an affordable way to have the phone they want, when they want - so that's exactly what we are doing. This means no more paying for expensive upgrade fees or long waits to get the latest models. Swap is simple: after 12 or 24 months, Sky Mobile will let customers know when it's time to Swap. Just provide details of the old phone online, choose a brand new one and it will be delivered for free - so there's no need to go to the high street. Once set up, the customer sends back their old phone. For anyone who would prefer to keep their old phone, Sky Mobile will reduce their monthly payments until the end of their contract.

Customers choosing a Sky Mobile phone with Swap12 or Swap24 get all the benefits of Sky Mobile's flexible service.

It is designed to reflect the way people use their phones today, offering choice, flexibility and great value; ensuring customers don't waste money paying for what they don't use or need. For the first time ever with Roll, mobile phone owners can keep any unused data for up to three years, that's automatically rolled over into a Sky Piggybank and available for customers to dip into whenever they like. Also, customers can mix their data every month, choosing to take more or less depending on their needs.

As an additional benefit, existing Sky TV customers get free Unlimited Calls & Texts with any data plan, saving £10 a month. Customers can get up to five SIMs per household and share any unused data in one Sky Piggybank.
