BIT 2016 announces the mini short BIT Shooting Star competition The professional exhibition of Audiovisual technology announces a mini short films competition to recognize and encourage the talent of new professionals entering the industry.

In order to recognize and encourage emerging talent in the audiovisual communication of new professionals entering the industry, the next edition of the professional exhibition of Audiovisual technology, BIT 2016, organized by IFEMA from 24 to 26 may at Feria de Madrid, announces the first edition of the award BIT Shooting Star.

Its a mini original short films, free registration contest, in which eligible students or groups of students that are currently enrolled or who have recently completed their studies (promotions of 2014 or 2015) linked to the audiovisual communication at any training centre in Spain - film school, University, vocational training center.

Each individual or group may submit a single unpublished and 8 minutes mini-corto maximum of duration, on the argument Overcome limits, the same theme to which reference this year made the claim of BIT 2016, which invites contestants to develop this idea in relation to any field that references to overcome with freedom (sport, personal development, technology, roles, cliches, boundaries, impediments...).

The prize is endowed with 2,000 euros and all selected mini-short will receive, as well as the winner, a return in visibility thanks to the different actions of communication developed by the fair, media and social networks. Also sets a consolation prize for the most popular nominated mini-corto.

The contestant must register here and fill out a simple registration form and upload the video in HD (1920 1080) format. MOV or. MP4 and H264 codec, with a bitrate of between 8 and 15 Mbs. The registration deadline is May 15, 2016.

A jury appointed by the Organization will choose the mini-short nominated for the award BIT Shooting Star, who will be selected to the final winner based on the criteria of creativity and invoice. The results of the nominations and winner public shall be made through the Socialmedias fair BIT before 24 may 2016, and the award ceremony will take place within the framework of celebration of the Salon from 24 to 26 May 2016.
