Evolution of the governance of Eutelsat Communications

Paris, 26 April 2017 - The Board of Directors of Eutelsat Communications (NYSE Euronext Paris: ETL) met yesterday and decided to submit for approval to the Annual General Assembly of 8 November 2017 the appointment of Dominique DHinnin, currently Board representative of FSP (Fonds Strat gique de Participations), as a Director of Eutelsat Communications. Subject to the approval of this appointment, Dominique DHinnin will be appointed Chairman of the Board of Eutelsat Communications. FSP will designate a new Board representative to replace Dominique DHinnin.

Dominique DHinnin will succeed Michel de Rosen who will retire from his duties as non-executive Chairman of the Board of Eutelsat Communications at the same time.

Michel de Rosen, Eutelsat Chairman, commented: It has been an honour since 2009 to have led and accompanied Eutelsat, an industry-leading enterprise and a reference for commitment, innovation and quality in the global industry of satellite operators. Following the transition with Rodolphe Belmer as Chief Executive Officer, I believe the time is right for me to retire as Chairman after the General Assembly of November 2017, and to pass the baton to Dominique D'Hinnin who is equipped with both the skills and depth of experience to steer the Board towards new development opportunities.

Dominique D'Hinnin was Lagard re Co-managing Partner from 2010 to 2016. He holds advanced degrees from cole normale sup rieure and is Inspecteur des finances. He joined the Lagard re Group in 1990 as an advisor to Philippe Camus. He was then appointed as the Internal Audit Manager, Hachette Livre Finance Manager in 1993, and, in 1994 Executive Vice-President of Grolier Inc. (Connecticut, USA). He was Lagard re Chief Financial Officer from 1998 to 2010. He is also a Board Member of PRISA, the Spanish media company.
