Blackmagic and Avacab organized a workshop on Ursa Mini Pro Combining presentations, workshops and equipment demonstrations, participants to this workshop will learn how make the most of the Ursa Mini Pro camera, and how import content, store, edit, do color correction and finishing projects by DaVinci Resolve.

Blackmagic Design, together with Audiovisual Avacabthey will organize on November 15 in Tres cantos (Madrid) the event Ursa Mini Pro for professionalsoriented to Cinematographers, freelances and videoreporteros camera operators. During this workshop professionals can learn all of the camera features highlighting its versatility.

Combining presentations, workshops and equipment demonstrations, attendees will learn how make the most of the Ursa Mini Pro camera, and how import content, store, edit, make color correction and finish projects by DaVinci Resolve.

Among other issues, this workshop will cover the understanding and recording for HDR (with Dolby Vision, HDR10 and Hybrid Log); the use of the HDR in postproduction and delivery; comparison live latitude, response of the sensor and digital compression; comparison of Ursa Mini Pro with other digital cinema cameras; options (Pro-Res, H.264, MPEG, and RAW) compression, when to use compressed formats or opt for RAW; Exchange mounts of objectives between EF, PL and B4 in Ursa Mini Pro; use of Bluetooth for remote operation of camera; How to use them LUTs in a set of production and post-production; metadata for postproduction objectives; management and optimization of media for a fast and efficient post-production; and, finally, use DaVinci Resolve for import, save, edit, make color correction, and finish projects.

Ursa Mini Pro model offers exceptional image quality with the features and controls of a traditional Studio camera. It features ergonomic side controls that allow you to change settings easily without the view of the action. It also includes filters neutral density, a screen and a revolutionary interchangeable frame which provides the possibility of using objective F, ru, PL, or B4. On the other hand, burn at a maximum speed of 60 f/s and account two UHS-II card slots and two for CFast 2.0 cards.

Its lightweight design not only offers great comfort, but it also facilitates its use throughout the day, and the quality of image is significantly higher than in other more expensive cameras.

Ursa Mini Pro offers all the features you need in a lightweight and portable design. Unlike other cameras manufactured with plastics, its frame is made from a magnesium alloy highly resistant, with a design that distributes weight evenly. This is a truly professional version that offers a complete redundancy, and its touch controls facilitate modification of settings without having to remove the camera from the shoulder. On the other hand, includes not only a side screen that provides important information, but also other foldable 4 inches, in order to evaluate the shots without the need for an additional external monitor. Also features SDI and XLR connections 12G, as well as a microphone integrated high quality, among other benefits. It should be noted that optional accessories, such as the electronic viewfinder and the shoulder support, offer the possibility to release the camera from the tripod in a matter of seconds or adapt it for all kinds of live productions.
