NEP Belgium standardises its Production facilities around Sony Vision Mixers posted: 17/04/2018
The new investment to the Sony XVS-7000 video switcher will result in operations at NEP Belgium, which is now entirely carried out by Sony solutions
With the constant demand for advanced 4K Live Productions, NEP Belgium, one of the market leaders in television broadcast services in Belgium and other European countries, has streamlined operations of its Outside Broadcast truck - Unit15, with the selection of the acclaimed XVS-7000 Video Switcher. With this product known for its flexibility and proven track record in the delivery of broadcast solutions for various events including sports, music and entertainment, the acquisition provides NEP with the specialised production tools needed to support the latest demands of advanced professional Live Productions.
The XVS-7000 Video Switcher is a core element of the productions system, enabling NEP with the flexibility of Dual HD/4K productions, HDR support, and assisting sharing capabilities. Furthermore, the unit is immediately operational due to the Vision Mixer controls being similar to the MVS-7000X, which was previously installed. There are multiple inputs available, making it possible to integrate the XVS as an IP/3G-SDI Hybrid Switcher, increasing its versatility.

NEP Belgium is continuing its relationship of trust with Sony Professional. The Unit15 was originally equipped by Sony Professional Services and even more recently, NEP Belgium has also selected the XVS-6000 for other applications, and now is fully equipped with Sony solutions. The acquisition of the XVS-7000 by NEP Belgium marks the more trust they have in the Sony brand.
