Reinforcing its long-term commitment to the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) broadcast market, LiveU is presenting the Q Era at CABSAT 2026, on Stand H1-D35 demonstrating how its IP-video EcoSystem supports broadcasters as they modernize live production, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen transmission resilience.

At the Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC), the company will highlight its latest IP-video solutions built for resilient IP contribution, AI-driven workflow automation, and digital-first operations.

LU900Q takes the spotlight

Leading the CABSAT 2026 showcase is the award-winning LU900Q, an intelligent production unit built for reliable live transmission from virtually any location. Six 5G Dual-MIMO modems and a high-gain antenna array give it a strong signal foundation, while dual-camera support and a compact, flexible platform let one unit handle high-quality production across a wide range of news and sports use cases.

Built-in GPS and telemetry keep crews connected to whats happening in the field in real time. With dual video return, dual intercom, 10-bit HDR 4:2:2 encoding, up to 32 audio channels and seven hours of battery life, the LU900Q delivers studio-grade production quality wherever the story is.

Supporting Starlink Connectivity

As satellite broadband services expand across the region, LiveU field units are already built to take advantage of them. The LU900Q, LU800 and LU300S support Starlink as part of a bonded IP connection alongside cellular networks, giving broadcasters a reliable option for live contribution from remote locations where terrestrial connectivity may be limited.

LiveU TX1 redefines creative freedom for Sony camera users

Continuing its expansion of live production capabilities, LiveU will also demonstrate the LiveU TX1, a compact, camera-mounted unit purpose-built for Sonys professional camera range delivering fast, reliable bonded file transfer directly from the camera. Also demonstrated will be the Sony RXS Connection License, enabling direct file transfer from compatible Sony cameras to the PWA-RXS solution via supported LiveU field units, starting with the compact LU300S.

Developed under a collaborative partnership between the two companies, LiveU TX1 represents the companys first fully native, dedicated integration gateway for Sonys ecosystem.

Digital Strategy Meets the Live Broadcast

Designed for fast-growing digital-first environments, LiveU Nexus is a cloud-native universal gateway that simplifies modern broadcast ingest and distribution. It converts, normalizes and routes IP feeds across protocols such as LRT, SRT and RTMP, connecting social, online and remote sources with traditional broadcast operations.

Complementing field acquisition and ingest, LiveU Studio will be showcased with expanded cloud-based IP live production capabilities, including the ability to deliver multiple feeds in various formats from the same production. Built around a browser-based, broadcast-grade video switcher with support for synchronized multi-camera production, ISO recording and instant replay, LiveU Studio gives remote and distributed teams the flexibility to produce professional live content from anywhere.

Automation That Follows the Story

LiveU will highlight why workflow automation matters as broadcasters take on more production work with smaller teams, cutting operational overhead.

LiveU Ingest moves live acquisition directly into editorial as part of a story-centric workflow. It records and tags content with story metadata, linking to MAM, NRCS and transcription systems so every feed is searchable, rundown-linked and clip-ready resulting in faster processing and lower costs.

LiveU Schedule replaces spreadsheets and disconnected tools with one SaaS platform for scheduling, resource management and automated execution, helping broadcasters keep workflows consistent for news and complex live events.

Actus X takes compliance and monitoring to new levels

Actus Digital a LiveU company will show the next generation of its Actus X platform on LiveUs stand. The platform lets broadcasters simplify operations, respond to technical and content issues faster, and adjust rapidly to changing workflows.
