Bitcentral marks streaming growth with appointment of Grenville Gooder as SVP of Sales

Bitcentral Inc., the provider of award-winning efficient media workflows for broadcast and digital video, today announces that it has appointed Grenville Gooder as Senior Vice President, Sales. Mr. Gooder brings considerable experience to the role, boasting over 25 years at the forefront of media transformation with the likes of Verbit.ai, Vilynx, Kaltura, and Brightcove. He will lead a team of sales professionals focused on the broadcast and streaming verticals. The appointment comes during a period of unprecedented growth for Bitcentral's Streaming Media Group (SMG), with a 157% increase in customers so far in 2022.

Mr. Gooder's expertise in leading sales teams and customer conversations over the last two decades means he has been at the forefront of many of the challenges that broadcasters, publishers, and streaming providers are facing today, including video management and distribution, aggregation, and accessibility. He has orchestrated the successful launch of scores of enterprise and consumer video deployments, ranging from major media properties such as The New York Times, AMCtv, Discovery, Hearst, Gannett, to Enterprise customers including General Motors and General Electric, to government organizations, including the U.S. Department of State and the Pentagon, to academic institutions such as Harvard and Stanford.
