
Develop quarterly marketing strategies for the channel and supervise their implementation, Assist in channel content planning according to viewership needs and demographic trends, Manage all media planning and placement, Communicate, implement and manage marketing campaigns for new/returning show launches
Plan and oversee execution of all advertising & promotion activities including: print, broadcast, digital, out of home, transit and direct mail
Manage promotions with radio stations and other media outlets
Assist in execution of online, text message and new media marketing initiatives
Oversee planning and implementation of all OOH marketing strategies and campaigns
Communicate with creative services and/or outside advertising agencies on ongoing campaigns
Oversee the order and delivery of all creative materials for marketing/branding campaigns making sure they meet quality & budget requirements
Approve all outgoing channel marketing collateral (print, outdoor, radio, broadcast & digital)
Participate in creative brainstorming sessions to develop marketing campaigns, concepts and materials
Develop concepts and copy for presentations and e-marketing materials
Assist with brainstorming, planning and execution of special channel initiatives
STAFF
Train and develop brand executives
Plan, assign, and direct brand executive workload
Supervise brand executive performance
Appraise brand executive performance
FINANCIAL
Forecast and manage departmental budget
Evaluate marketing plans and strategies to determine ROI
STRATEGIC
Research, analyze, and monitor financial, technological, and demographic factors so market opportunities can be capitalized on
Identify new marketing opportunities
Establish marketing partnerships and negotiate barter deals
Manage and develop supplier relationships
Manage and fulfill yearly supplier contract negotiations
REPORTING
Develop evaluation post-reports for marketing, talent & press initiatives
Monitor launches & performance of local and international shows to create and update highlights for CTS
Analyze advertising exposure in comparison with competition
EVENTS
Represent at industry functions
Participate in planning and organizing channel and event marketing opportunities
Act as chief brand officer, championing all brand-related matters amongst staff
Requirements:
Marketing qualification essential
Matric qualification
Good command of the English language (read, type and write)
Computer literacy (Microsoft office: Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
Good telephone manner & etiquette
Driver's license & own transport
ABILITY TO:
Read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, and legal documents
Respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers
Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
