Rovi Corporation and Interra Systems to Drive HEVC Adoption Cupertino, California, September 9, 2013 (BUSINESS WIRE)
Interra Systems, a global leader in Content QC and Monitoring, today announced that it is working with Rovi Corporation (NASDAQ: ROVI) to support and accelerate the market rollout of HEVC. Rovi has chosen Vega HEVC Analyzer as the debug platform to help rapidly test and release standards-compliant HEVC solutions. The Vega Analyzer will also be used to test DivX HEVC streams and verify interoperability with Rovi's broader DivX HEVC video ecosystem.
Since the beginning of the year, we have been working towards the delivery of an end-to-end HEVC solution, said Thomas Kramer, Vice President, product management at Rovi. To assist in the rapid release of our HEVC encoding and decoding solutions, we selected Interra's Vega HEVC Analyzer as our debug and analysis platform.
