NAB 2026: Telestream and Mimir Announce Integration for Ingest-to-Editorial Workflows

Telestream and Mimir have announced an integration connecting Telestream's Vantage and Live Capture solutions with Mimir's cloud-native asset management platform. The integration will be showcased at NAB Show 2026 at the Telestream booth (W1503) and Mimir booth (N2850).

Built on Mimir's open REST APIs, the integration automates normalization, metadata enrichment, quality control, and processing of incoming media before delivery into the Mimir platform. The integration also supports edit-while-ingest, allowing teams to work with content and growing files before ingest completes. File-based and live ingest workflows are both supported.

This integration ensures that content is ready to use the moment it enters the editorial workflow, whether it's coming from the field or a live feed, says Richard Andes, Vice President of Product Management, Telestream. By combining automated processing with flexible cloud and hybrid deployment models, we're removing friction and helping teams move faster without changing how they operate. This is a significant advantage, especially for fast-paced sport and news productions.

File-Based Workflows

Using Telestream Vantage, incoming media - including camera cards, user-generated content, and file-based contributions - can be automatically normalized, enriched with metadata and AI-generated information, transcoded, quality-controlled, and delivered into the Mimir cloud environment.

Live Workflows

Telestream Live Capture enables contribution of live feeds into Mimir from SRT, SDI, ST 2110, or IP sources. Live content is recorded and uploaded directly into Mimir storage and registered with metadata and proxies for immediate editorial access.

Cloud and Hybrid Options

The integration supports both fully cloud-based and hybrid configurations. Telestream's UP.Ingest enables camera card and file-based contributions to be processed in the cloud. UP.Capture adds cloud-native SRT ingest for live feeds.
