Australian broadcaster 8CCC selects AEQ digital consoles for its studios La estaci n comunitaria tiene sedes en Alice Springs y Tennant Creek, dando servicio a una amplia y despoblada zona en las aisladas tierras del norte.
Radio 8CCC, una emisora comunitaria creada en 1981 con una programaci n centrada en el Territorio del Norte de Australia, que emite a trav s del 102.1FM y online en todo el mundo, ha adoptado la tecnolog a de Aeq.
Esta regi n de Australia cuenta con una superficie de casi 1.5 millones de Km con apenas 240.000 habitantes, lo que da una idea de la inmensidad de la zona, as como lo dispersas y aisladas que pueden llegar a estar las localidades que all se encuentran.
A finales de 2020 la direcci n de Radio 8CCC decidi renovar el equipamiento t cnico de los estudios de emisi n con dos par metros vitales en su idea de tecnolog a: robusta y f cil de utilizar.
Radio 8CCC have their main studies in Alice Springs secondary education in the town of Tennant Creek a m s de 500 kil metros m s al norte. En ambos casos las dos localidades est n muy alejadas de cualquier otro n cleo de poblaci n de la zona, de tal forma que cualquier problema t cnico tiene muy dif cil soluci n, siendo obligatorio contar con material especialmente robusto y a prueba de fallos.
Adem s, produce muchos de sus programas con personal voluntario sin una formaci n espec fica en radio, siendo necesario que los equipos y sistemas que se utilicen sean extremadamente sencillos de manipular.
With these conditions in mind Radio 8CCC decided to install a new console Forum IP AEQ at Alice Spring and a console AEQ Capitol IP en el estudio principal de Tennant Creek.
La consola Capitol IP instalada en Tennant Creek es una consola de mezcla de audio digital de configuraci n fija de 8 canales. Una de las principales cualidades de AEQ Capitol IP es la amplia capacidad de entradas disponible: 4 micro/l nea, 12 anal gicas, 4 digitales est reo AES/EBU (AES3), 2 digitales est reo USB, 2 l neas telef nicas opcionales, y enlaces opcionales de audio multicanal digital; 16 canales AoIP sobre dos conectores Ethernet o 64 canales MADI entrada por fibra ptica.
Tambi n su capacidad de salidas es sorprendente: 8 anal gicas, 4 digitales est reo AES/EBU (AES3), 2 digitales est reo USB, 2 l neas telef nicas opcionales, enlaces opcionales de audio multicanal digital; 16 canales AoIP sobre dos conectores Ethernet o 64 canales MADI entrada por fibra ptica, auriculares de control, auriculares de locutorio primarios y secundarios, monitorado de control, de locutorio y salida especial para pareja de altavoces CUE.
FORUM IP in Alice Springs La consola Forum IP instalada en Alice Springs se basa en la misma tecnolog a, pero tiene dos diferencias fundamentales debido a que esta estaci n es la principal. Por un lado, mayor capacidad de entrada, salida y control, con 12 faders y 4 buses de programa con tecla de asignaci n directa, para que sea m s f cil manejar simult neamente varios programas o grabaciones. Por otro, mayor seguridad ante posibles aver as y es que su composici n modular hace improbable tener que mandar la consola a reparar a Sydney, en el lado opuesto del continente australiano. Es sencillo identificar el m dulo y pedir que lo env en, pudiendo sustituirlo el personal de la estaci n.
La instalaci n, configuraci n, puesta en marcha y formaci n de la totalidad del proyecto fue realizada Broadcast Components socio local de AEQ en el pa s, ubicado en Nueva Gales del Sur, en comunicaci n directa con los servicios t cnicos centrales de AEQ en Madrid.
