Stephen will be responsible for managing the strategy and development of our Secure Solutions business, which provides reliable and secure networks and infrastructure to various customers such as the Government and emergency services, as well as industry sectors such as transport and utilities.

Our Managing Director of Telecoms Nicolas Ott said,

I am thrilled to welcome Stephen to Arqiva. Secure Solutions is a crucial wing of our business, delivering critical services to the UK. I am confident that Stephen will continue Arqiva's trend of meeting our customers' high expectations for reliability and security in their communications services.

Stephen has extensive experience of working with the emergency services having most recently been the CEO of TRACKER Network UK Ltd - the stolen vehicle recovery company. He has been involved in vehicle telematics and the drive towards connected cars. While working at Aviva, Stephen was one of the original creators of the PAYD (pay as you drive) service for telematics based motor insurance.

Stephen Doran, the new Director of Secure Solutions said,

As customers connect more and more devices to their networks the demand for reliable and secure infrastructure has skyrocketed. I look forward to working with the team as they provide new and pioneering solutions to meet this demand and better ensure the safety and security of people across the UK.

Stephen takes over from Paul Hellings, who is now our Director of WiFi and Small Cells.
