TVNewsCheck to Present Suzana Brady with Women in Technology Futurist Award at NAB 2023

TVNewsCheck is presenting Suzana Brady with a Women in Technology Futurist Award at NAB 2023. Brady joins a select group of women who have been singled out for advancing the industry technologically through substantial contributions. The awards will be presented at the NAB Show in Las Vegas on April 18 at 6 PM, Rooms W205 & W206 in the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Brady holds the position of svp of worldwide sales and marketing at Cobalt Digital, Inc., where she is responsible for directing all sales and marketing activities on a global scale. Brady also champions Cobalt's involvement in the adoption SL-HDR1 by facilitating numerous and varied educational initiatives designed to educate the industry on the details of this technology.

In addition to her role at Cobalt, Brady currently serves as the chairperson for the RIST Forum. The RIST Forum is an industry group dedicated to promoting the adoption of Reliable Internet Stream Transport (RIST), which is a Video Services Forum Specification for low-latency, reliable video transport over the Internet. As Chairperson, Brady has led the organization's marketing and education activities since 2019, growing it to over 230 members during her tenure.

Brady is the recipient of multiple degrees and certificates in engineering, marketing, and business and has held high-level positions in tech companies since 1993. An accomplished linguist, Brady is fluent in four languages with a working knowledge of an additional two.

TVNewsCheck's Women in Technology Leadership Award supports the National Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation's Technology Apprenticeship Program, which trains, informs and recruits a diverse workforce that meets the emerging technology and engineering needs within the broadcast community.
